Today seems so much like a Saturday. It's hard to get things lined up in my mind properly.

Dave just went down to his garden and there was Sunshine. She must have followed him in yesterday and then got shut in when he left. She was pacing in front of the gate making little noises when he got there.

Sunshine didn't come back to the coop last night. I fear she's gone for good. Sunshine was our one chicken who crowed. I'd hear her crowing a few times each morning. She was getting better at it all the time. When it gets light I'm going to go out and search for her remains. Hopefully figure out what took her. I planted my pansies and the other flowers and then went out later to see how they were fairing and noticed how perfect the dandelion puff balls were. Got out my big camera with the helios lens and sat on the ground to get some closeups. The chickens saw me and came over.
